This is a pre-order item that will be available to pick up in-store on Saturday, February 21. You will receive an email confirmation when you place your order, and another email in the spring when they are ready for pick-up.
Pick-Up Info
You will receive an email when your plants are ready for pick-up in the spring. Simply come to the front desk with your pick-up information, and we will pull your plants from the greenhouse where they have been waiting patiently for you!
Plants must be picked up within 14 days of notification. Orders that are not picked up in that time will be released for re-sale, and you will not receive a refund. If you are unable to pick up your plants during that time, please let us know ASAP.
We love hellebore plants here at In The Garden! Their delicate, early season blooms brighten up the winter garden and keep us cheerful during some of the coldest and darkest times of the year. They are a magical little reminder that yes, spring will (eventually) be here.
Hellebores are one of the very first plants to bloom in the year. Their delicate, saucer-shaped flowers bloom for weeks at a time. They provide early pollinators with important food sources of nectar and pollen at a crucial time when almost nothing else is in flower. Their leaves are evergreen, providing beautiful foliage throughout the year when they are not in bloom.
Hellebores are super easy to grow and require very little care. Once established, hellebore plants generally grow to about 12-15” tall and 18-24” wide.
Hellebores are critter resistant, with deer and rabbit avoiding them, and drought tolerant.
HGC® Ice Breaker® Bonny features creamy white flowers with pink edges that mature to a greenish- tint. Deep green leaves last throughout the year in the garden.
