This is a pre-order item that will be available to pick up in-store in the spring. You will receive an email confirmation when you place your order, and another email in the spring when they are ready for pick-up.
Pick-Up Info
You will receive an email when your plants are ready for pick-up in the spring. Simply come to the front desk with your pick-up information, and we will pull your plants from the greenhouse where they have been waiting patiently for you!
Plants must be picked up within 14 days of notification. Orders that are not picked up in that time will be released for re-sale, and you will not receive a refund. If you are unable to pick up your plants during that time, please let us know ASAP.
The first full moon in May is the Flower Moon! Celebrate with a night-blooming Moon Flower Vine!
Moon Flower Morning Glory is an annual, night-blooming vine that just glows in the late evening in your garden. The blooms are huge, up to 6 inches across, and a little translucent. They open in the evening and stay open all night long, closing by mid-morning. They are wonderful for night-time pollinators.
It has a gentle, sweet fragrance, so plant it near a walkway, porch, or patio where you can enjoy the scent. Moon Flower will climb up, so provide a trellis or support structure so it can grow to maturity. As a vining style, it is a twiner, so thinner support structures work best (but Morning Glories hardly need any help to climb).
Moon Flower grows best in full sun (6+ hours) and likes it hot. They prefer moist, well-draining soil. Fertilize weekly to continue bud and bloom development.
