The earliest tomato in town with that old-fashioned tomato taste!
John's Grandma Harrison always had a huge garden of vegetables and flowers alike. It was a focal point for the whole family.
She grew up in lean times and learned to survive by growing and raising most of their food. As a little boy, her garden seemed to be the size of a football field to John. She had a lot of plants in her garden, but the tomato plant was king.
She planted many different varieties of tomatoes, but she was most famous for having the earliest tomatoes in town. And not only were they the earliest—they were delicious and plentiful.
This bush tomato will produce early and heavy, making it ideal for fresh eating, slicing for BLTs, canning, or fresh salsa.
Grandma Harrison's Early Bird Tomato is a medium-sized, meaty fruit with a balance of sweetness and acidity for that old-fashioned tomato taste.
These plants work well both in the ground and in larger containers. They are a determinate variety, only reaching 3 foot tall, making them easy to fit in smaller spaces and maintain.
These have been a Harrison family favorite for who knows how long! Make sure to use Fox Farm Grow Big liquid fertilizer once a week for even more fruit.
Pre-order yours today to get first dibs and we'll remind you when it's time to pick up and plant!
